Motorist alleges insurer breached contract

HOUSTON — A Houston motorist is suing an insurance business, alleging breach of insurance contract.

Daniel Caballero filed a complaint April 28 in Harris County District Court against Fred Loya Insurance Agency Inc. alleging failure to perform its obligation under the terms of the insurance policy.

According to the complaint, on June 25, 2016, an unknown motorist negligently collided with Caballero's motor vehicle, causing him him to sustain bodily injuries, mental anguish and property damage. 

Caballero says he sought to recover insurance money for his injuries and damages but Fred Loya Insurance has failed to make payments for the plaintiff's claim.

Caballero seeks trial by jury, monetary relief between  $1 million and $10 million and all just relief. He is represented by attorneys David W. Berquist and Moises Morales of Berquist Law Firm in Houston.
