HOUSTON — An individual is suing Dr. Chok Lee, Walgreens and pharmacist Ngan Thuy Le for alleged negligence.
James R. Lane filed a complaint on April 26 in the Harris County District Court, alleging that the defendants failed to provide her with proper medication.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she was injured from being provided a medication that she had allergies to. Lane was prescribed tramadol and naproxen.
She then called the pharmacy out of concern that she might have an allergic reaction. The pharmacy allegedly did not review her file and told her she could take the medicine. She allegedly broke out in a rash after taking the medications.
The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly provided a drug to her that caused an allergic reaction.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks actual damages, exemplary damages, pre and post judgment interest, court costs and other relief at law and equity to which she may show herself justly entitled. She is represented by Steven R. Davis and John A. Davis Jr. of Davis & Davis in Houston.
