HOUSTON – A Harris County man alleges he was injured on a construction project because of exposed wires.

Leonardo Estrada filed a complaint on May 19 in the Harris County District Court against Constructability, Weingarten Realty and John Doe alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Oct. 24, 2015, he was electrocuted while working on defendants' construction project because of exposed wires. He alleges he sustained serious injuries resulting in medical expenses, pain and suffering and loss wages. The plaintiff holds Constructability, Weingarten Realty and John Doe responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to warn plaintiff of a dangerous condition and failed to provide adequate assistance and supervision to their employees performing the task.

The plaintiff seeks monetary relief of more than $200,000 but not more than $1 million and such other relief to which plaintiff is justly entitled. He is represented by John Arthur Daspit and D. Brandon Schilter of Daspit Law Firm in Houston.
