GALVESTON – A Galveston County man has filed suit against the owner of Seabreeze Mobile Home Park after he was injured while working there.

Wesley Jones filed a complaint on June 22 in the Galveston County District Court against Lan Thi Nguyen alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Dec. 27, 2015, he was working at the defendant's mobile home park when a porch collapsed, causing him to fall a few feet.

The plaintiff holds Nguyen responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to correct the defective condition and to inform plaintiff of the dangerous condition existing on the premises.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant in excess of the minimum jurisdictional limits of the court, pre- and post-judgment interests, costs and all other and further relief. He is represented by Jack H. Holtzman and John Arthur Daspit of Daspit Law Firm in Houston.
