HOUSTON – A restaurant service company is accusing a former employee of interfering with its business relationships.

Service Stack LLC, doing business as Hoodz of East Houston, and Wilson Paul Roberts filed a complaint on Aug. 17 in the Harris County District Court against Odey Yaacoubi, HoodPro LLC, Amine Rama and Tuan Nguyen alleging breach of fiduciary duty, tortious interference with contract relations and other counts.

According to the complaint, Yaachoubi worked for the plaintiffs and formed competing company HoodPro with the other defendants while still working for the plaintiffs in August 2016. The plaintiff alleges that Yaachobi would ignore customers' calls to schedule quotes or cleanings and that he had contacted the plaintiffs' customers to sign with his new company.

The plaintiffs hold Yaacoubi, HoodPro LLC, Rama and Nguyen responsible because Yaacoubi willfully and intentionally defrauded and conspired to defraud the plaintiffs.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek an order restraining defendants from diverting plaintiffs' clients and trade secrets, monetary relief of more than $100,000 but not more than $200,000 and all further relief that is lawful and equitable. They are represented by Derek Hoofpauir of Law Office of Derek Hoffpauir PLLC in Kingwood.
