Two former employees of Boomer Enterprise seek allegedly unpaid overtime

Law money 06

HOUSTON – Former employees of a Texas corporation allege that they are owed unpaid overtime compensation.

Felix Cardoso and Orlando Cruz filed a complaint on Aug. 25 in the Houston Division of the Southern District of Texas against Boomer Enterprise Inc., doing business as All Care, and Michael G. Rogers alleging that they violated the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs were formerly employed by the defendants as polishers. They allege they regularly worked more than 40 hours in a week but were not paid the appropriate overtime rate until the middle of 2016.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek to recover unpaid overtime compensation, liquidated damages, costs and attorney’s fees and all further relief as the court deems just and equitable. They are represented by Josef F. Buenker and Vijay Pattisapu of The Buenker Law Firm in Houston.
