By Philip Gonzales | Oct 4, 2017

GALVESTON – A California lender claims a Galveston County company failed to pay the full balance of a loan.

Scott V. Lehman filed a complaint on Sept. 11 in the Galveston County District Court against FSI Field Specialties Inc. alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on April 11, 2016, he provided a loan to defendant in the amount of $150,000. The plaintiff holds FSI Field Specialties Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly made 11 payments on the loan and then defaulted. He alleges he has not received a payment since March.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks an order restraining defendant from sell its equipment and business, monetary relief of more of than $100,000 but less than $200,000 and such other special and equitable relief. He is represented by Scott P. Armstrong, Joshua D. Lee and Megan C. Savage of Armstrong Lee Savage LLP in Houston.
