By Philip Gonzales | Oct 17, 2017

HOUSTON – A Harris County man alleges his Fort Bend County employer failed to pay the correct rate for overtime work.

Wade Allen filed a complaint on Sept. 21 in the Houston Division of the Southern District of Texas against Applus Velosi America LLC alleging violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that between Oct. 5, 2015, and May 19, 2017, he regularly worked for more than 40 hours per week without receiving the additional half-time premium for all hours worked in excess of 40 hours in a workweek.

The plaintiff seeks a judgment for an amount equal to his unpaid overtime pay, liquidated damages, attorney’s fees, costs and expenses and such other and further relief. He is represented by Charles L. Scalise and Daniel B. Ross of Ross Law Group in Austin.
