GALVESTON – A Harris County man alleges he was injured when he was struck by an OFS Solid Waste Services vehicle.

Julian Smith filed a complaint on Oct. 10 in the Galveston County District Court against Natalio Adame and OFS Solid Waste Services Inc. alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Sept. 29, 2016, he sustained severe and debilitating injuries when defendant Adame, who was driving for OFS Solid Waste Services, struck him while backing a vehicle.

The plaintiff holds Adame and OFS Solid Waste Services Inc. responsible because defendant Adame allegedly failed to control the vehicle’s speed and failed to keep a proper lookout and defendant OFS allegedly failed to properly train its drivers.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief in excess of $1 million and such other just and proper relief. He is represented by M. Paul Skrabanek and Michael E. Pierce of Pierce Skrabanek PLLC in Houston.
