Surgical neurophysiologist alleges hostile work environment at National Neuromonitoring Services

HOUSTON – A surgical neurophysiologist residing in Fort Bend County alleges she was subjected to a hostile work environment because of her race.

HOUSTON – A surgical neurophysiologist residing in Fort Bend County alleges she was subjected to a hostile work environment because of her race.

Erinma Onyeri filed a complaint on Oct. 21 in the Harris County District Court against National Neuromonitoring Services LLC alleging that the former employer violated the Texas Commission on Human Rights.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges because she is black, she faced retaliation and discrimination during her employment with the defendant from February 2016 until her termination in March 2017. 

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks compensatory and punitive damages, reinstatement or front pay, attorney's fees, costs and such other just and proper relief. She is represented by Victoria Plante-Northington of Plante Law Firm PC in Houston.
