HOUSTON – Two individuals allege they were injured by an unsecured table at a Baytown establishment.

Erika Palominos and Symone Amu filed a complaint on Nov. 6 in the Harris County District Court against Northshore Lakes Inc., doing business as MaxBowl East, alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on Oct. 2, they were guests at defendant's MaxBowl East in Baytown sitting at a table. The suit states when one of their friends stood up from their table, the table tipped over, causing them to fall backward. They allege they were injured.

The plaintiffs hold Northshore Lakes Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to properly secure the tables after a recent renovation.

The plaintiffs seek monetary relief of more than $200,000 but less than $1 million and such other relief to which they are justly entitled. They are represented by Thomas N. Thurlow of Thurlow & Associates PC in Houston.
