HOUSTON – A Colorado man is accusing a Houston business of fraud after allegedly making false representations about a vehicle.

Richard Valenziano filed a complaint on Dec. 5, 2017, in the Harris County District Court against Advanced Enterprise Inc., doing business as Advance Motor Group, and Majid A Siddiqui alleging violation of the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act and fraud.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on May 23, 2017, he entered into an agreement with the defendants to purchase a 2007 Ford F-350 King Ranch pickup truck. The plaintiff alleges the truck was advertised as being in "mint" condition. The suit states it a host of problems with the vehicle were later discovered that required replacements and/or repairs.

The plaintiff holds Advanced Enterprise Inc. and Siddiqui responsible because the defendants allegedly made false material information to induce plaintiff to enter into a purchase agreement and failed to disclose certain material facts at the time of transaction.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks to recover economic damages, pre- and post-judgment interest, attorney's fees, costs and such other general and special relief. He is represented by Richard D. Weaver and James Hamilton Foley of The Weaver Law Firm in Houston.
