According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Dec. 5, 2017, he injured his back while in the course and scope of his employment with the defendants working aboard the Nale vessel near Hawaii. He alleges he has not been able to work since that date.
The plaintiff holds Kirby Corp. and Kirby Offshore Marine LLC responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to provide proper equipment and failed to provide adequate training and supervision.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks damages in an amount within the jurisdictional limits of the court, pre- and post-judgment interest, costs of court and such other lawful and equitable relief. He is represented by Ryan H. Zehl and Matt L. Martin of Zehl & Associates PC in Houston.
