GALVESTON – Damages are being sought from a Texas City man after his dog allegedly attacked an individual.
Michael Bush filed a complaint on Feb. 16 in the Galveston County District Court against Kristopher Brent Sanders alleging negligence.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Feb. 22, 2017, he was on defendant’s property when he was attacked and bitten by the defendant's dog. He alleges he suffered injuries that resulted in medical expenses, pain, mental anguish, loss of capacity to enjoy life and lost wages.
The plaintiff holds Sanders responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to keep and hold his dog on a leash and failed prevent the dog from attacking him.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief of more than $200,000 but less than $1 million and any further relief to which he may be entitled under equity and in law. He is represented by Joshua P. Davis and Katherine Ray of Davis Law Group in Houston.
