HOUSTON – A Harris County man alleges he was injured in a fall caused by an uneven floor.

Patrick Caesar filed a complaint on Feb. 20 in the Harris County District Court against O.C.T.G. Material Handling Systems alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on March 6, 2016, he was injured at his place of employment with Pinnacle Machine Holdings when he tripped and fell on uneven flooring installed by the defendant. The suit states "the flooring consisted of several separate sections and was part of a narrow walkway or landing that was elevated approximately 3 feet above the main floor level." The plaintiff alleges the sections were not attached properly to the base supports and the adjoining ends of the sections were not even.

The plaintiff holds O.C.T.G. Material Handling Systems responsible because the defendant allegedly improperly fabricated and secured the flooring.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks monetary relief of more than $200,000 but not more than $1 million and such other relief to which he is entitled. He is represented by Sylvester Anderson in Houston.
