HOUSTON – A shopper at a local flooring supply business experienced a slip and fall earlier this year caused by an unattended toolbox, according to a state district lawsuit filed on Aug. 2.
Catarino Espinoza filed the suit against Lee-Wright, Inc., the store’s owner. Espinoza claims that he “fell on his face and was bleeding significantly.”
The suit says that the plaintiff had a hip operation before the incident in question. It blames the defendant for not warning him about the “dangerous condition on the premises.”
Consequently, Espinoza seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.
He is represented by Sofia E. Bruera of the Bruera Law Firm, PLLC in Houston.
