HOUSTON – A Fort Bend County woman alleges that she was injured last year on a ride at a local waterpark, recent Harris County District Court records show.
Carol Pratt filed a lawsuit against Typhoon Texas on Aug. 10 in the Harris County 11th District Court, claiming she was aboard a raft that turned over and ejected her.
Court documents attribute the July 16, 2017 incident to Pratt being seated with a “large individual that caused a discrepancy in weight distribution.”
Consequently, the plaintiff seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.
