HOUSTON – A Houston homeowner alleges a contractor left the job and failed to complete the work he was contracted to complete.

Yolanda Barber filed a complaint on Sept. 13 in the Harris County District Court against Julio Velo, doing business as Triple A Remodel, alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on April 26, 2014, she contracted the defendant to remodel her Houston home. She alleges the defendant failed to complete the contracted work and eventually walked off the job.

The plaintiff holds Velo responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to complete the contracted work.

The plaintiff seeks all damages in the full amount allowed by law, plus interest, attorney's fees, costs and such other and further relief as she may be just justly entitled. She is represented by Ray L. Shackelford of Shackelford & Associates LLC in Houston.
