HOUSTON — A Harris County woman is suing a Houston business, alleging she slipped and fell, leading to injuries.

Maria Camacho filed a complaint June 19 in Harris County District Court against Sellers Bros. Inc., alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, Camacho was shopping at Sellers, 9494 Hammerly Blvd., Houston, on June 7, 2018. Due to a clear liquid on the floor, the suit states, Camacho was caused to fall, leading to serious injuries, pain and suffering and mental anguish.

The plaintiff alleges Sellers Bros. failed to place any warning signs regarding the condition of the floor.

Camacho seeks monetary relief between $100,000 and $200,000, interest and all other equitable relief. She is represented by attorneys David K. Mestemaker, Norman Straub and Jonathan B. Zumwalt of Mestemaker, Straub & Zumwalt in Houston.
