HOUSTON — A Houston company is suing two former employees, alleging they stole trade secrets.

Energy Advisors Group Inc., filed a complaint July 8 in Harris County District Court against Brian Green, James Barnes, Eagle River Holdings LLC and Golden Eye Resources LLC alleging misappropriation of trade secrets, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duty, tortious interference with contract, unfair competition, conspiracy, violation of the Texas Harmful Access by Computer Claim and conversion.

According to the complaint, Energy Advisors provided Green, Barnes, and Eagle River with access to valuable information and trade secrets. The plaintiff says it made it clear that the information being given to the defendants was confidential and not to be disclosed. However, the suit alleges, the defendants nonetheless breached the contract and fiduciary duties and used the information in a manner that was not allowed.

Energy Advisors Group seeks trial by jury, damages, attorney fees, court costs, interest and all other just relief. It is represented by attorney Patrick D. Devine of the Law Office of Patrick D. Devine in Tomball.
