Houston customer alleges Craco Construction failed to complete work on new home

HOUSTON — A Houston man is suing a construction company, alleging it failed to complete the work it was paid to do.

Miguel Argueta filed a complaint July 9 in Harris County District Court against Antonio Cuevas, doing business as Craco Construction and Remodeling, alleging fraud and breach of contact.

According to the complaint, Argueta and Craco Construction entered into an agreement Dec. 5, 2018, in which the defendant agreed to build a new home at 8129 Chateau St., Houston and rebuild a home on Seymour Street. Argueta alleges he has fulfilled their portion of the contract, but the defendant has refused to do what was contracted to go.

Argueta seeks trial by jury, actual damages of $145,000, exemplary damages, interest, attorney fees of $1,750, court costs and all other just relief. He is represented by attorney Enrique Dovalina of Dovalina & Eureste LLP in Pasadena.
