BAKER MCKENZIE LLP: Baker McKenzie Appoints David Cambria Chief Services Officer

Baker McKenzie is delighted to announce the appointment of David Cambria as Chief Services Officer to reflect the continuing expansion and development of the Firm's Services function.

Under David's leadership, the Firm's Services team has grown significantly under a core mandate to optimize client value and to enhance the client experience across the Firm's global business. By integrating market-leading business capabilities and legal operational discipline into the front lines of service delivery, the Services function delivers transformational initiatives to modernize the Firm's service delivery platform.

The Services function encompasses five connected capabilities that enable client-facing teams to achieve business outcomes and deliver service experiences with greater consistency, commerciality and solution-orientation. These integrated capabilities support a new operating model spanning the full service lifecycle of the Firm's business lines worldwide.

David joined Baker McKenzie as Global Director of Legal Operations in June 2018 from Archer Daniels Midland Company, a Fortune 50 company and one of the world’s largest agricultural processors and ingredient providers. There, he held the position of Global Director of Operations - Law, Compliance and Government Relations for five years.

Jason Marty, the Firm's Global Chief Operating Officer, explains, "David joining Baker McKenzie last June represented a significant milestone for our Firm, and his new appointment to Chief Services Officer reflects the strategic importance of the Services function, which underpins our efforts to transform our operating model and how we serve our clients."
