HOUSTON — A Houston business is claiming a water leak from a business above them caused damage to their inventory and equipment and forced them to shut down for months.

Hawaii Investment LLC, CLQ International Inc., doing business as Zaza Digital and Liquin Zhang filed a complaint Feb. 13 in the Harris County District Court against Oasis Massage Spa Retreat and others alleging premises liability and negligence.

The plaintiffs allege that on Feb. 17, 2018 when they arrived at their business condo unit in Houston, they discovered "gaping" holes in their ceiling due to water that had leaked down from the business above them, Oasis Massage. They claim the leak was caused by the defendant's negligence and that it damaged their inventory, furniture and equipment and caused them to shut down their business for three months for repairs.

The plaintiffs seek monetary relief, interest and all other just relief. They are represented by Don Nguyen. of Nguyen & Kan in Houston.
