HOUSTON — An attorney who founded a financial consulting firm is claiming fraud and breach of fiduciary duty against the firm's former managing director.
Anapolsky Advisors Inc., filed a complaint Feb. 19 in the Harris County District Court against Adrienne Mangual.
Mangual served as Anapolsky Advisors' managing director from Nov. 2018 through January 2019. Mangual quit her position on Aug. 27, 2019 and in November of 2019, Anapolsky filed suit against her claiming fraud and breach of fiduciary duty. According to the complaint, Mangual joined Prime Communications as its executive director of strategy and planning in January of 2020. Anapolsky claims Mangual was an officer of the company who received benefits, had authority to bind contracts and had access to confidential company information despite her denial of being an officer in her responses for admission in the court case. They also alleged Mangual terminated her employment without proper notice.
Anapolsky seeks monetary relief, trial by jury and all other just relief. They are represented by Attorney Jeffrey Anapolsky in Bellaire, Texas.
