DLA Piper US LLP issued the following announcement on July 22.
New Perimeter, DLA Piper's nonprofit affiliate that provides long-term pro bono legal assistance in under-served regions around the world, recently welcomed three new members to its Advisory Board.
The new members include Cindy Dyer, vice president of human rights at Vital Voices Global Partnership; Jon Hayes, a partner in DLA Piper's London office and member of the firm's International Board; and Maha Jweied, independent access to justice expert and former acting director of the US Department of Justice's Office for Access to Justice.
"We are thrilled to welcome Cindy Dyer, Jon Hayes and Maha Jweied to the Advisory Board," said Lisa Dewey, director of New Perimeter. "Each brings a unique perspective and experiences and insights that will be invaluable to New Perimeter's programmatic and strategic planning efforts."
