Woman working at Minute Maid Park sues Saint Arnold Brewing after keg dropped on her foot

HOUSTON - A woman is seeking more than $1 million in damages for injuries she received after a keg fell on her foot while she was working at Minute Maid Park. 

Tonya Johnson filed suit against Silver Eagle Distributors and the Saint Arnold Brewing Company on Nov. 21 in Harris County District Court.

According to her lawsuit, on May 22, 2022, Johnson was working for Aramark at Minute Maid and assigned to work at St. Arnold’s Bar. She was making popcorn when a Silver Eagle employee was delivering two kegs of beer. One of the kegs fell off the dolly and onto her foot, causing her injuries.

Johnson is accusing the defendants of negligence and is suing for her past and future pain, mental anguish, impairment, disfigurement, medical expenses and lost wages.
