HOUSTON - A man alleging a forklift driver hit him with a pipe has filed a lawsuit against Ridgemar Energy.
Seeking more than $1 million in damages, Juan Luis Cavazos filed his suit on Jan. 26 in Harris County District Court.
According to the lawsuit, on Oct. 2, 2023, a worker under the control of Ridgemar was operating a forklift in a grossly negligent manner and was attempting to move a pipe on an oil rig when the worker struck Cavazos, causing catastrophic injuries.
The plaintiff is seeking exemplary damages.
