HOUSTON - A lawsuit brought against Teloloapan is alleging a produce bag roller snapped and struck a woman in the face.
Seeking up to $1 million in damages, Gina Ramos filed her suit on Feb. 12 in Harris County District Court.
According to the lawsuit, on Jan. 24, 2023, Ramos was at the store using the produce bag roller to gather bags for her fruit when the roller snapped and struck her in the face, causing injury.
The suit alleges the defendant negligently failed to inspect the premises for dangerous conditions.
Ramos is suing for her mental anguish, medical expenses, impairment, lost earnings and disfigurement.
