Wendy Garza has filed a lawsuit against Aliyah Laren Coleman in the District Court of Harris County, Texas under the court case ID 2024-19775. The lawsuit was filed on March 28, 2024, and revolves around an automobile accident that allegedly occurred due to Coleman's negligence.

Garza, represented by an unidentified attorney, alleges that on July 22, 2022, she was traveling southbound in the 900 block of Milam Street at the intersection of Walker Street in Harris County when Coleman failed to stop at a steady red light and entered the intersection unsafely. This resulted in a collision with Garza's vehicle. As per Garza's claim, Coleman's negligent actions caused her serious and lasting injuries for which she sought medical treatment.

The plaintiff is seeking monetary relief of $250,000 or less excluding interest, statutory or punitive damages and penalties, attorney fees and costs. She accuses Coleman of failing to exercise reasonable care to avoid harm under circumstances similar to those described in the lawsuit.
