Beatris Beltran Zepeda sues Gina Guida and John Guida for car accident due to negligence

Beatris Beltran Zepeda has filed a lawsuit against Gina Guida and John Guida in the District Court of Harris County, Texas. The court case ID is 2024-21764 and was filed on April 5, 2024. The plaintiff alleges that the defendants' negligence resulted in a car accident that caused her significant injuries and damages.

The incident occurred on August 24, 2022, when Zepeda was traveling westbound on Business 290 in Waller County. She claims that Gina Guida failed to yield right of way while turning left, causing a collision with Zepeda's vehicle. At the time of the accident, Gina Guida was operating a vehicle owned by John Guida.

As a result of the collision, Zepeda sustained injuries and damages which she asserts were directly caused by the negligence of both defendants. Specific acts of negligence include failing to control speed, operating the vehicle carelessly, not applying brakes timely to avoid collision, failing to maintain proper lookout and control over the vehicle among others.

Zepeda is seeking monetary relief in excess of $250,000 but no more than $1,000,000 for her physical pain and suffering, mental anguish, medical expenses incurred in the past as well as impairment and disability she suffered due to this incident. She will also likely suffer legally recognizable damages in the future.
