U.S. Industrial sued for driver's collision

Alleging he sustained injuries in an automobile collision, Orange County resident Jason Glanzer is suing United States Industrial Services and one of its employees, Patrick Letulle.

The suit was filed Nov. 28 in Jefferson County District Court.

According to the lawsuit, on Oct. 17 Glanzer was stopped for congested traffic on Highway 73 in Port Arthur when he was struck by a truck driven by Letulle, who was in the course and scope of his employment with United States Industrial.

The suit charges Letulle with negligently failing to control his speed and also faults United States Industrial with negligent entrustment and supervision.

The plaintiff is suing for his alleged past and future medical expenses, mental anguish, pain, impairment, disfigurement and lost wages, plus all court costs.

Beaumont attorney Clay Dugas represents him.

Judge Donald Floyd, 172nd District Court, is assigned to the case.
