BEAUMONT - A lawsuit is alleging that an out-of-control cab of an 18-wheeler struck three vehicles and caused a major commercial collision last month.
Seeking more than $1 million in damages, Hunter Clark filed suit against JRW Logistics and Berry Leonard III on April 19 in Jefferson County District Court.
According to the lawsuit, on March 26 Clark was traveling in Hardin County when Leonard, a JRW employee at the time, allegedly failed to pay attention to the roadway, changed lanes when unsafe, and crashed into Clark.
The lawsuit is alleging negligence.
