A man is suing after a car crash caused injuries.
Ervin Thomas Jr. filed a lawsuit Jan. 10 in the Jefferson County District Court against Elaine Walker, citing negligence.
According to the complaint, on July 18, 2012, Thomas sustained injuries due to the alleged negligence of the defendant.
Thomas claims on that day that he and the defendant were both traveling south on Stadium Drive in Port Arthur when the defendant veered into his lane, causing their vehicles to collide.
Thomas is seeking damages in excess of $1 million.
