A lawsuit has been filed following a two-car collision in Port Arthur.
Maria Watler filed suit May 20 in the Jefferson County District Court against Donovan P. Nguyen, citing negligence.
According to the complaint, Watler was driving her vehicle near the intersection of State Highway 347 and Stadium Road in Port Arthur on July 13.
At that time, Nguyen was also driving near the intersection, when the two vehicles collided, causing injury to the plaintiff, according to the suit.
The plaintiff is accusing the defendant of negligence which resulted in the collision.
Watler is seeking damages within the jurisdictional limits.
She is being represented by attorney John A. Carwile.
