A Stafford delivery company is suing several businesses, alleging non-payment for services.

World Express Cargo Inc. filed a lawsuit Aug. 3 in Galveston County District Court against Khalid Mirza, Trans Middle East Investment Company, K&M International Corp., Khalid Mirza International Inc., Southern California Valve Inc. and SCV Valve.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff provided delivery services to all of the defendants at different times starting in March 2013. The suit says World Express Cargo sent invoices to each and has yet to be paid.

The plaintiff alleges breach of contract and says the defendants, working together to not pay, have been enriched in the amount they owe for his delivery services, $7,825.56.

World Express Cargo seeks actual damages for the previous amount, fees and court costs, attorney fees and a jury trial. It is represented by attorneys Philip Robert Brinson and John. T. Kovach of LeClairRyan in Houston.
