A former employee is suing an Oklahoma oil and gas producer, alleging unpaid overtime.

Jerry Stroman filed a lawsuit Nov. 10 in the Texarkana Division of the Eastern District of Texas against NBI Services of Tulsa, alleging unpaid overtime wages in violation of the Fair Labor Standards Act.

The suit states while Stroman was employed by NBI as an operator-technician in Redwater and Maud, he generally worked 60-70 hours per week and was paid on a salary basis. The complaint states NBI did not pay the plaintiff an overtime premium for time worked more than 40 hours per week.

Stroman seeks to recover unpaid overtime wages, liquidated damages, interests, attorney fees and costs. He is represented by attorney Josh Borsellino in Fort Worth, and by attorney C. David Glass of Smith Weber in Texarkana.

Texarkana Division of the Eastern District of Texas case number 5:15-cv-00181-RWS-CMC.
