The plaintiff MTel has initiated legal action to stop alleged infringement of United States Patent Numbers 5,809,428 (the “’428 Patent”), 5,754,946 (the “’946 Patent”), 5,581,804 (the “’804 Patent”), and 5,894,506 (the “’506 Patent”).

It consequently seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.

The plaintiff HFTS has alleged infringement of U.S. Patent No. 7,231,363 (“the ’363 patent”).

Per HFTS’s complaint, it is the owner of the patent in question, entitled “Method and System for Rebrokering Orders in a Trading System,” with Webster Hughes and Charles Fefferman as its inventors.

The complainant seeks unspecified monetary damages and a jury trial.
