GALVESTON — A Galveston couple is suing a local contractor, alleging breach of contract and negligence.
John and Donna English filed a lawsuit March 4 in Galveston County District Court against Ronald Allen Hansen, a general contractor, alleging violation of the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure.
According to the complaint, John and Donna English suffered damages resulting from construction defects on their property in Galveston. The suit says Hansen failed to comply with the project’s plans and specifications, failed to properly construct the project and refused to make sufficient repairs.
John and Donna English seek compensation for damages resulting from defendant’s breach of contract, reasonable attorney fees, prejudgment and post-judgment interest, cost of this suit and all other relief the court deems appropriate.
