HOUSTON – A shopper is filing a negligence lawsuit against the El Ranchito Meat Market Y Taqueria in Houston, claiming she slipped on the floor and injured herself while entering the store.

Plaintiff Carolina Hinojosa filed the lawsuit in the Harris County District Court against JMN Investments, LLC, doing business as El Ranchito Meat Market Y Taqueria, citing negligence and premises liability.

According to the lawsuit, on Sept. 18, 2022, Hinojosa was a patron at the El Ranchito Meat Market Y Taqueria in Houston. She claims that when she entered the store, she slipped and fell on a slippery substance on the floor and sustained serious injury.
