Slip & fall suit alleges H-E-B employee left liquid on floor

HOUSTON - A woman is suing H-E-B claiming she slipped and fell on liquid left there by a store employee. 

Seeking up to $250,000 in damages, Lizet Moreno filed the suit on Jan. 24 in Harris County District Court. 

According to the lawsuit, the plaintiff was shopping at H-E-B when she slipped and fell after stepping on a liquid substance left there by a store employee. There were no warning signs present. 

The plaintiff alleges the defendant failed to maintain the area. 

The plaintiff is suing for her medical expenses, pain, mental anguish and lost wages.
