Lawsuit alleges bulldozer ran over man’s leg

HOUSTON - A lawsuit seeking more than $1 million in damages is alleging that a bulldozer ran over a man’s leg.

Alleging gross negligence, Miguel Lopez filed suit against Outdoor Innovations, Perfect Palapas and Elmer Amaya on Feb. 23 in Harris County District Court. 

According to the lawsuit, on Nov. 23, 2023, Lopez was working in Webster when Amaya, who was operating a bulldozer controlled by the defendants, ran over his leg, crushing his foot, ankle and leg. 

Lopez’s injuries required multiple injuries. 

He alleges the defendants negligently failed to provide a safe workplace.
