Suit alleges HEB employee hit woman’s cart, wedged her between shelves

HOUSTON - A lawsuit against HEB is alleging a store employee collided with a woman’s shopping cart, causing her to become wedged between two shelves. 

Alleging gross negligence, San Juanita Salinas filed her suit on March 29 in Harris County District Court. 

According to the lawsuit, on Nov. 2, 2023, Salinas was shopping at a HEB when store employee, who was pushing pellets, collided with her car, causing her body to become wedged between two shelves. 

The suit accuses HEB of acting with conscious indifference to the safety of the plaintiff.
