During the operation, several miscalculations were made resulting in physical disfigurement and infection for Ms. Lilim.
After six months of recovery from scarring and infections, Ms. Lilim returned to the facility for scar revision surgery where she experienced severe pain due to insufficient anesthesia. Despite her pleas for more numbing medication during the procedure, Dr. Horndeski allegedly ignored her requests and continued with the surgery.
Ms. Lilim seeks monetary relief of over $1 million for damages suffered as a result of the alleged medical negligence.
