TLRPAC endorses John McQueeney in Republican primary for HD 97

AUSTIN—Texans for Lawsuit Reform PAC today endorsed John McQueeney for election in the Republican Primary runoff for House District 97, which covers part of Tarrant County, a press release states.

“TLRPAC supports candidates who understand that a fair and efficient legal system is a critical pillar of the Texas Miracle,” TLR President Lee Parsley said on behalf of TLRPAC. 

“John McQueeney is a successful businessman with a diverse background in real estate, franchising and logistics. He is a proven job creator whose entrepreneurial drive and conservative principles resonate with the residents of House District 97. He understands the need to shut down abusive litigation and is committed to keeping our legal system fair and efficient for all. TLRPAC is proud to support him.”

McQueeney received a bachelor’s degree from Texas Christian University. His professional career began at RadioShack Corp., where he managed expansion strategies across the U.S. and Canada. After leaving RadioShack, he entered entrepreneurship, owning McDonald’s restaurants in San Antonio to Fort Worth. In 2018, he diversified into the logistics sector as a contractor with FedEx, growing a fleet from four to 50 trucks. Recently, McQueeney acquired a Chicken Express in Cypress and became an advisory director at Austin County State Bank in Bellville.

 TLRPAC is the political arm of Texans for Lawsuit Reform (TLR), the largest civil justice reform organization in Texas.
