Foreclosure keys

A bank is petitioning for the foreclosure of a Beaumont property over an alleged unpaid home equity loan.

Christiana Trust, a division of Wilmington Savings Fund Society, as trustee of Normandy Mortgage Loan Trust, series 2013-9, filed a petition for foreclosure Oct. 9 in Jefferson County District Court against Nola L. Petry.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff seeks to foreclose on a lien against the respondent's property on Winzer Drive in Beaumont, due to a home equity loan that matured Sept. 4 and has yet to be paid. The petition states $60,678 is required to pay off the loan, and the period to cure the default has expired.

The plaintiff seeks an expedited order to proceed with the foreclosure. It is represented by attorneys from Barrett Daffin Frappier Turner & Engel in Addison.
