A Harris County woman is suing over claims she was injured when she tripped on a clothing rack in a Reebok store.
Adha Jassmin Badillo filed a lawsuit Nov. 7 in Galveston County District Court against Reebok International, citing premises liability.
According to the complaint, Badillo was shopping at the Reebok store on Gulf Freeway in Texas City on Nov. 23, 2012, when she tripped on a clothes rack that was on the floor in an aisle. Badillo says she sustained injuries including fractures in her lumbar area. The defendants are accused of premises liability.
Badillo seeks damages including medical expenses, lost wages, loss of earning capacity, interest and costs of suit. She is represented by attorneys Corey S. Gomel and Dominique Bartholet of Gomel and Associates in Houston.
