CityMortgage wants foreclosure on Port Arthur home

CityMortgage Inc. is petitioning for the foreclosure of a home on Jade Avenue in Port Arthur.

The Missouri-based bank filed a petition to foreclose Oct. 14 in Jefferson County District Court against Patricia A. Vidrine, also known as Pat Vidrine, and Joseph D. Vidrine.

According to the complaint, the Vidrines have defaulted on their home equity loan from the plaintiff for their property on Jade Avenue in Port Arthur. The complaint states at least 19 payments have not been made and more than $7,000 is required to cure the default. The plaintiff says more than $28,600 is required to pay off the loan.

CitiMortgage seeks an expedited order to proceed with foreclosure. It is represented by attorneys from Barrett Daffin Frappier Turner and Engel in Addison.
