A Harris County man is suing to reverse a workers' compensation decision.
Rodney C. Harmon filed a lawsuit Nov. 26 in Galveston County District Court against American Zurich Insurance Company.
According to the complaint, Harmon is appealing the final Oct. 24, 2014, decision of the appeals panel of the Texas Department of Insurance - Division of Workers' Compensation that the injury he sustained Nov. 29, 2012, does not extend to a lumbar disc protrusion. Harmon says he is specifically appealing the certification of maximum medical improvement by Dr. David Vanderweide on March 20, 2013.
Harmon seeks reversal of the decision. He is represented by attorneys Michael L. Sprain and Alvaro J. Iglesias of Sprain Law Firm in Houston.
