A Texas man is suing over claims he was injured in a collision with an 18-wheeler.
Christopher Blackwood filed a lawsuit Nov. 4, 2014, in Jefferson County District Court against Vincent Antonio Harrison and Success Logistics Inc.
According to the complaint, Blackwood was driving westbound on Interstate 10 near Beaumont on Sept. 13, 2014, when Harrison lost control of the Success Logistics 18-wheeler he was driving and slammed into Blackwood's vehicle, causing him to sustain serious injuries.
Blackwood seeks more than $200,000 in damages. He is represented by attorney Robert W. Hildebrand of Hildebrand & Wilson in Pearland.
