A Jefferson County man is suing over claims he was injured in a Market Basket store.
Dewey Bell filed a lawsuit Nov. 11, 2014, in Jefferson County District Court against Retail Investors of Texas, individually and doing business as Market Basket, citing negligence.
According to the complaint, Bell was injured while on the Market Basket premises on Nederland Avenue in Nederland on Feb. 3, 2014, when he tripped on a separated piece of concrete and fell, sustaining injuries.
Bell is represented by attorneys Paul "Chip" Ferguson and Cody Dishon of Provost Umphrey Law Firm in Beaumont.
